Description

The general theme of the workshop is the Langlands Program and its applications. Ê Specific areas we hope to focus on are algebraic aspects aspects of arithmetic varieties and Ê analytic aspects such as a automorphicity and analytic continuation of L-functions.

 

Location of the workshop

The workshop takes place at the Far Hills Inn (www.farhillsinn.com/anglais/anglais.html), located in the Laurentians, 1 hour's drive from Montreal. Transportation to and from downtown Montreal for people arriving January 2 and leaving January 5 will be provided by the organizers. For those who are driving, take highway15 north from Montreal and get off at exit 76. Follow signs to Far Hills Inn. Far Hills Inn is famous for its cross-country ski trails park, its guest services and its cuisine. Participants of the workshop will have access to all facilities, including a ski pass. Rental and ski lessons are available on location.
