The Local Scientific Committee is composed of the Director, the Director-Designate, and of four to five members named by the Board of Directors. The members of the committee are:

The Local Scientific Committee:
• Prepares proposals on the main priorities, strategic plan and scientific programs and submits them to the International Scientific Advisory Committee;
•After consulting the International Scientific Advisory Committee, it defines the main priorities, strategic plan and scientific programs and submits them to the Board of Directors;
• Advises the Director on any issue regarding the scientific programs.
